IRRF Book Club: The Serviceberry In-Person

Join us for a three-week series discussing Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Paige Reyes, Indigenous Roots + Reparation Foundation board member, will lead the discussion. Please join us for all three sessions of the series. 

Series dates:

July 3rd, 10th & 17th from 6-7 PM at the Leavenworth Public Library.

Reading Schedule:

July 3rd - Session #1: Gifts and Relationships (pg. 1-27)

July 10th - Session #2: Scarcity vs Abundance Economics (pg. 29-65)

July 17th - Session #3: Reciprocity and Nature’s Lessons “All Flourishing is Mutual” (pg. 66-109)

We'll be reading the book together and discussing sections as assigned. You can request a copy of the book using our library catalog or buy a copy at the A Book for All Seasons.

Registration is required. Space is limited so please only register if you are able to join for all three sessions. 

This book club is co-sponsored by Indigenous Roots and Reparation Foundation (IRRF) and Evergreen Gift Shop, a local Indigenous owned business.
