Salmon Storytime and Release Parade! In-Person
Have you seen our baby COHO Salmon growing in the tank at the library? They will be ready to explore the world on June 28th, and you can help! Gather on the grass behind the Skate Park at Cashmere Riverside Park at 11:15 am for a Slippery Fish Storytime then parade down to the Cashmere River to help. Name your salmon and gently walk them down to the river's edge for their first Big Swim! One Salmon Fry per family until they are all swimming away. A meaningful, fun learning experience for all!
After this take in the festivities of Founders Days with the Family Fun Fair (11am - 5 pm) and a Ping-Pong drop (3 - 4 pm) at the park, Classic Car Show downtown (10 - 3 pm), Pickle Ball Tournament all day at the local schools, followed by a Founders Day Parade through town starting at ( 5 pm). Mark your calendars for this exciting day of fun!!
