SUMMARY:Six by Six -- Soap Lake Community Art Show
DESCRIPTION:The Soap Lake Library invites artists of all ages and 
 experience levels to participate in the Six by Six Community Art Show—a 
 celebration of creativity\, craftsmanship\, and community. This unique 
 exhibition challenges artists to create original\, handmade wall art no 
 larger than 6 inches by 6 inches\, frame included.\n\nWhether you work in 
 paint\, fiber\, collage\, wood\, or other handmade media\, this show is 
 about big ideas in a small format. All selected artwork will be displayed 
 at the Soap Lake Library and offered for sale during the show-- this is 
 possible with the support of the Soap Lake Creative District and Friends of 
 the Soap Lake Library.\n\nShow Guidelines\n\n\n	\n	Size Requirement:\n	Each 
 piece must fit within a 6 in x 6 in square\, including the frame and any 
 elements that extend beyond the canvas. Pieces must hang straight (no 
 diagonal squares).\n	\n	\n	Original\, Handmade Artwork Only:\n	All entries 
 must be wall-hanging artwork made by the artist’s own hands.\n	No 
 prints\, digital art\, digital photography\, laser-cut or 3D-printed work\, 
 or jewelry.\n	\n	\n	Entry Limit:\n	Up to five (5) pieces per 
 artist.\n	\n	\n	Submission Form Required:\n	Each piece must include a 
 completed entry form with the artwork title\, artist name\, email\, and 
 phone number. The artist’s name must also be printed on the artwork 
 itself. Form available at the Soap Lake Library at time of submission. 
 \n	\n	\n	Content & Display:\n	Pieces must be family-friendly. Some works 
 may be placed higher on the wall or in a separate area.\n	Culturally 
 appropriated imagery will not be accepted.\n	Artwork containing feathers 
 must not include migratory bird feathers—if using scavenged feathers\, 
 please contact us @soaplake@ncwlibraries.org with a photo before 
 submitting.\n	*All art must have an attachment on the back for hanging on 
 the display panels\n	\n\n\nSales & Pricing\n\n\n	\n	All artwork sells for 
 $25 each.\n	\n	\n	Artists receive 100% of the sale price.\n	\n	\n	Sales are 
 administered by Friends of the Soap Lake Library and the Soap Lake Creative 
 District.\n	\n	\n	Sale Dates: March 27 and April 18\n	\n\n\nDrop-Off Dates 
 & Times\n\nArtwork may be dropped off during open library hours starting in 
 January through April 18.\n\n\n	\n	Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 6:00
