Space Availability - Royal City Library

Royal City Library Meeting Space

The Royal City Public Library features the Paul Lauzier Community Room, a bookable meeting space that is reservable to the general public up to 8 weeks in advance of your meeting on a first come, first serve basis for a 4 hour limit each day. 

The Paul Lauzier Community Room can accommodate up to 42 people. You are responsible for ensuring that there are no more people in the room than allowed, for any reason.

Furniture Availability

The Community Room includes 8 moveable tables and 26 stackable chairs.

You are responsible for all meeting room setup and breakdown, including setting up and arranging tables and chairs, and then restoring the room to its original setup. All set up, breakdown, and cleaning must be completed during the time you reserve

 

Technology Availability

We highly recommend reviewing the Conference Room & TV Cart Technology Guide prior to using any of our technology resources in the space. This will help ensure the smoothest experience for attendees.

Open access Wi-Fi is available in the Library. However, the Library cannot guarantee the reliability or availability of Wi-Fi during any meeting. More information about using the Library’s Wi-Fi can be found in the NCW Libraries Internet Usage Policy.

You may bring in your own technology.

You may request use of the Library’s on-site audiovisual equipment when you make your reservation or at least seven (7) days before your meeting. Approval depends on staff and equipment availability.

If you use the Library’s equipment, you are responsible for the actual cost of repair and/or replacement of anything that is damaged during your use of the room.

The Library cannot guarantee help with audiovisual equipment or other technology during your meeting.
